If we do not participate with your insurance, ask us why.

We will research your insurance to see if we can provide our services for their contracted fees.

You should know...

Insurance is not free and it is currently increasing astronomically, mainly due to abuse & fraud.

We do not tolerate insurance fraud because it effects everyone eventually, no matter how small it may seem to some.

Changing procedure codes for higher payments or charging for unnecessary procedure codes is insurance fraud.

Trying to “use up” all your insurance benefits unnecessarily only causes insurance rates to increase for everyone.

Charging “in-network” patients additional fees (lab fees or parts) above the contracted fee is not allowed and needs to be reported to the insurance company.

Charging “in-network” patients non-contracted fees (regular office fees) after “maxing out” their benefits is not allowed for some insurance contracts.

STERILIZATION

Our office has a strict protocol for disinfection and sterilization.

Patients have a right to see how their instruments are sterilized and how their treatment rooms are disinfected.

Our patients are allowed to watch how everything gets sterilized and disinfected for their appointment with us.

Wet instruments, even after coming out of the sterilizer (autoclave), are not considered sterile.

We have a fractionated vacuum sterilizer, with both pre-vac & post-vac, to insure dry sterilized instruments.

SAY "NO" TO BACKFLOW (Yuck! )

We supply our patients with disposable suction tips that have special valves to prevent backflow* (*which can occur for 1 out of 5 patients).

X-RAYS

X-rays in our office are only prescribed, by the dentist (not by staff), for diagnosis; not because your insurance company is paying 100% for them.

We have trained staff to produce diagnostic images. We want our patients glowing because of a healthy beautiful smile not from over-radiation.

Our X-ray equipment has one of the lowest radiation levels currently on the market; and, we even have an option to take checkup x-rays without uncomfortable sensors for patients that have extreme gag reflexes.
